2An electrical thermostat, independent of the software, cuts the heater if it gets too hot and reconnects once it cools.
3A one-time thermal fuse: once it trips, the heater can never switch on again.

Good food, good recipe collection, just be careful with onions

Been using for 5 months. Cook 4-5 days a week on it. Food tastes good, meals are being cooked faster, I just do the prep, and then sit and scroll insta while it does the work.
One tip is that they should warn us about the blending. you're cookign some gravy, it will ask for onions, saute it, and then last 10 seconds, it will suddenly dial to 11 and violently blend everything. Its a shock sometimes that took a while to get used to. If you're putting onions, 100% it will do that.

Glass lid needs careful cleaning

The cleaning is slightly more involved with the glass lid — has to be handled carefully. Wouldn't say it's a real problem, just slightly more attention. Excellent cooking, no doubts.

Great Cooking Machine - good collection of recipes

I need to spend some more time with the device to understand what all it can do, but I'm very satisfied with the taste. they managed to get the indian palate configured correctly. Made kadai paneer last weekend, and the kind you get from North Indian food chains with proper masala and colour.

If I already owned 1.0, upgrade would be less obvious

Bought this instead of the 1.0 for my new kitchen. Everything works well. Only thing is that if I had already owned the 1.0, I'm not sure the upgrade would have been an obvious buy — the differences are real but not dramatic. Since this is my first, I have no complaints.

Worth it for daily use

Not saying it’s perfect, but overall for daily cooking it’s a big help, i don't have to stand in front of it. You have to wash 3-4 things at max, including the jar. Tried the low oil versions, didn't notice much of a difference. Saves time, saves effort, and food tastes good. That’s good enough for me

Safety and Care

Keep the device on a flat, heat-safe surface with clear space above to vent steam
Always securely lock the lid
Never exceed the max 2 L fill, and let steam escape through the lid opening (Keep the crown on when instructed)
Handle the Blade by the hub (not the edges)
Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth
Wash the Jar and accessories promptly after use
Make sure contact pins are dry before re-inserting
Do not put the jar into the dishwasher
Exercise care and use only a light scrub around the jar bottom
Please ensure that your household electricals are properly earthed before use

Yes → notifications, pause, stop via mobile app sync.

How many people can it cook for?

It depends on the recipe: 1 to 6 people. Pav bhaji and dal cook for up to 6, and you can cook just for yourself.

What is HeatCore™ Gen 2?
